Work is God

Do you practice religion?

Anyone who has been follymy blog knows I practice religion 😀! I think I answer it and blog it whenever I celebrate a Hindu festival.

Anyhow many people consider their profession as God! செய்யும் தொழிலே தெய்வம்!

In a world that runs behind money, there is no attachment nor there any commitment to the work that is done. Both the employee and the employer try to maximize each other and I think the above concept gets lost.

I was surprised to find a display of barber’s things in a rest area near Columbus. It was so interesting I read through the whole display and learnt that there is a National Museum for IBarbers and a hall of fame nearby. I think that is a great way to honor a profession.

Even today in India during Navaratri/Dusherra time people who work with tools offer their prayers to them. Yes, whatever work you do if we show our sincerity and respect we may shine more.

Now for the pictures from the service area. The service area inside looked like a mini museum and the outside had a story trail!

The storybook trail was 0.3 miles and has been well thought. Even a person who is lazy to walk may just stretch and read the story out of curiosity.
