I am not a sincere “go green person”.
A few weeks back my husband was cleaning a backpack that we take on our trips. It had plastic snack wrappers and quiet a few treasures that needed to end in the trash. Most of the parks we travel to have a motto “trash in, trash out”. Yes, if we carry something inside just take it out!
Our car trunk is full of trash of that sort and so are our backpacks. It is fine! On a warm day, I would take my time to clean it out and it is clean.
What happens if you throw your inorganic trash in parks and public places where there is no trash collection. I feel that is a crime in itself.
I am not a solid “go green person” but please bring back your trash home. I think this applies to people anywhere in the world! Anything inorganic please do not trash it unless you find a trash bin!

I was surprised to find both a trash can and a recycle bin in one of our local trails!

The dead leaves on the trail are organic they don’t need to be cleaned but a plastic bottle or a protein bar wrapper is inorganic and needs to be brought back home. Something to remember when being out this summer.
