Organizing

This year Mom’s Day was quiet different! We had to cancel all of our young man’s events and take him out for a drive. Yes we skipped his Special Olympics and baseball games!

Yes, I put myself first as I wanted to have some “me” time with my extended family. Yes, it was me saying life doesn’t need to revolve around my kids especially my young man!

But on the way we did stop in the city of brotherly love! My curiosity with my National Parks App was at a peak. A city filled with historic sites I was curious what the app was going to track! As soon as we reached the visitor center, the app welcomed me to that place and even gave me a list of suggestions. We roamed 90 minutes around and got into the car tired, by the time my husband hit the highway my app handed me an album filled with Philadelphia memories!

Mint!

Anyway the same organizing cannot be said about my home! It is a mess. So got to go and that is all for a Monday morning!

Hello! I was just looking at your posts as I happen to come across your website, seems like your family loves to travel! Wish I could say the same. But, my daughter who is blind and has moderate intellectual disability well, it’s hard to make traveling arrangements along with other factors.
I used to be one that traveled with my biological daughter and my stepdaughter, fun fact, my husband was in the Navy and that allowed me to go to Guam. It was really fun!

    1. Thanjs for stopping by. My son will soon be 28 and for many years taking him out or an airtravel was hard. We have slowly come out of it. Yes taking him needs immense planning and my brain works overtime for a fun adventure. Hope you can travel with your daughter soon one day.
