Should I try camping?

Have you ever been camping?

No, I have never done camping. Let me say when my son was younger we gave the reason it is hard to camp with him. But deep rooted me and my husband are not the camping type. We did stay at a campground with cozy cabins two years back and my son was not even comfortable with it.

We go on lot hiking trails so I do see a lot of camping videos but none has motivated me to do the same. It would of course be a great experience for my special young man. But I would need a lot of help doing the same. Until then we would just be hiking in National Parks.

Thr closest we did to camping 😀

As I finish writing the prompt maybe one day I will try camping! 😀

  2. Camping is a great family activity and research supports evidence that the nature and outdoors are good for neurodiverse kids. I would give it a try if you’re able to make it happen!

  3. Yes, you will know only after trying.

  4. I enjoy camping, though now that I’m older, I think I’d enjoy it more in a camper as opposed to a tent. My son, however, refers to camping as “intentional homelessness” 😁
