It was opening day!

My young man plays baseball. More than the sport it is a community event. Six weeks spring and fall we have this routine of going to the game.

When I said baseball, my man was all up and ready! Yes, the concession stand is his motivation.

It is loud out in the field. Regulating behaviors is hard. But that is his community. Seeing, known faces and saying a simple “hi” does makes our day more energetic!

Me and my husband take the backseat as my younger one has to be with his brother for these games as his buddy.

So how did it go? The first inning was hard but the second inning went great! I am not going to be bored writing about this wonderful event and I hope my readers don’t get bored for the next six weeks.

The next game is ‘under the lights’. Craving for nachos and cheese for that game.

Home run
At the base
Cheering by cheer leaders
The volunteers

The announcers did get my son’s name wrong! Of course they were forgiven but they did apologize and call us out again 😀!
