Skybridge and Skywalk

When is the last time you took a risk? How did it work out?

My two feet needs to be on the ground and I do not like heights. I am not even comfortable looking out an airplane window. Yet, when we were in Smoky Mountains last month I was forced to use the ski lift and walk the sky bridge.

My husband and my special one had to be on one lift and me amd my younger one behind them. My special one was like, “I am going to take my sweet time to climb on to this”, and I just had to push him and I too jumped and sat next to him 😀! At that point I was like “not scared”. Now my special one kept moving his legs and what was supposed to be am eyes closed experience I was monitoring my active boy!

Picture taken by my younger one with the three of us. An attraction I really wasn’t interested in. I felt that 8 minute ski lift to be risky. The ski bridge we walked later was just a breeze 😀! By the way I didn’t not take one single picture when I was on it.

Anyhow few months back, we did walk on the sky walk at Grand Canyon West. I thought I had accomplished something big but that was easy!

Grand Canyon Skywalk

Grand Canyon West is commercial and they do not allow cameras on the bridge. They have photographers to take pictures for us and sell us! This one, I had to take from a restaurant with a view. By the way, the restaurant was expensive too.

Anyhow these are few risks that I took in the past few months. I have lived to talk about it. 😃

I am really glad I took these risks, not for me but for my young man!
