Saying no to fear

How often do you say “no” to things that would interfere with your goals?

I went back to look at what I wrote two years back for the same prompt. It was interesting read for me. Our house was a mess with construction and my OCD boy was overwhelmed.

I wrote I had wishes than goals. Yes, I am at a point in my life I am not working towards something like a promotion or job change.

That is the reason I had problem writing for the prompt. I expect wishes to happen on it’s own somewhat miraculously!

Nothing happens on it’s own. We need to work towards it.

When we had our floor replaced we told our construction crew we will go on a vacation for a few days. This would help our boy handle our home and the crew to do things in peace.

When we came back we had new floors and my special young man had his first airplane trip after 5 years. Changing our floor and traveling where wishes that had to be done when we said “no” to the fear of the same.

Yes, fear of doing something or wishing something really pulls us down.

That trip to Florida two years back really kickstarted our air travel and we made our trip to India last summer.

Yes, thinking about it, I have said “No” to my fear my multiple times and I think that has helped my family.

Laziness and fear really affect one’s growth.
