Another park checked off!

We went in search of wild bears but just saw man made ones.

The drive was long and the time was short, yet we achieved a lot the past weekend.

That is me on the ski lift! Had to document that.

Another National Park scratched off from our bucket list.

The Mommy in me pushed my boy to his limits. I would say, he is the reason I did things I would have just avoided.

I was scared of those snakes but there were just squirrels!
Cataract Falls
One room school house
Casually walked the log bridge
Saw a deer! The bears were hibernating!

We could have enjoyed our time at the nearby tourist towns doing Touristy stuff but Mother Nature pulled us into her arms and we spent few hours a day with her.

Love those trails
Had to take a picture of this place
A doggy cotton candy 😀! We didn’t buy it!

We just have a few more National Parks on the East coast left to visit. But this was one long overdue for us and the most visited National Parks of all! Yes, even the Grand canyon only comes in second.

So where did we go?

My boy loves to travel now! But the next trip isn’t until Memorial Day Weekend. Until that time, he just needs to work hard! I think he is getting the hang of it!

hi Uma, I think its wonderful that you are visiting all the National parks. I have been to none of them. I love your photos. The Great Smokey Mountains are in Tennessee, right? You could go to Dollywood if you are in Tennessee.

    1. Smoky Mountains are in both Tennesse and North Carolina. We saw Dollywood. It’s just outside the park entrance. It is one of many places that we didn’t visit in the twin towns of Gatliburg/Pigeon Forge.
