More than six years ago, I became employed as my son’s aide. I started going with my son to his activities. I never thought this is as a life goal or an ambition to be around this group of people. But it it has turned to be a wonderful experience to be among this mixed garden flowers.

The artist, the singer, the innocent story teller, the perfectionist and how about a social bee? When you are in the group you can meet them all! The energy is so good and there is nothing but love.

We call our son, a bear and big baby and I tell my husband there are too many of them there and who cannot love their company.

Miracle League Baseball games happen twice a year fall and spring. If you have one near your house just be on the stands and encourage the players. Even if my son is not playing I love to watch them. That is how much fun they are!

My son’s group is not limited to autistic people. That is why I call them a mixed bouquet of flowers.
