Give Me a Break

Do you need a break? From what?

Give Me a Break!

That is what my kitchen appliances have been screaming at me! Last summer it was my refrigerator and the dishwasher! Then last week it was the garbage disposal! My first garbage disposal was in an apartment in Boston. One day it stopped working and my maintenance guy gave me strict instructions saying it cannot take any fat! That has been my mantra all these years! Put the disposal on a fat free diet! But all of a sudden last Saturday it stopped working. The plumber finally came and discovered a tiny spoon stuck in it! I had been careful, yet this happened! But for a week it was nervous! My husband couldn’t digest the cost! We paid 75 dollars on top of the home warranty company’s payment! Ha, the spoon costs less than a dollar. How much so tiny can punish us?

We always say, am I a machine? I need a break! So imagine my household kitchen equipment taking break! How about me a human, don’t I need a break from everything!

Anyway thanks to my garbage disposal we did eat out and I did make some one pot meals minimizing the use of my sink! In turn giving me a break! Now that is done, I crave to eat my own food!

My break is done , until next time but I hope to get one in an island with an aqua colored beach and lots of sun🌞!
