Not my computer but our family’s first computer purchased in January 1999 at Comp Usa! Looks so recent, but it was 25 years ago! I was talking to another person who was talking to me about Y2K problem and that happened a quarter century ago! Time flies!

I have no clue what the configuration of the desktop computer was! But I remember spending more than 1000 dollars for it and my husband spent all night assembling it! What fun it was to get the dial up internet connection. Netzero gave us free internet for sometime and then we switched to AOL!

I was excited to send emails to my family and friends in India and my dad had to go to the browsing center to read those! How much they expected my emails just like a snail mail 😃!

My father in law and my mom who visited us during that period learned to use the computer and I think it was first in many ways! I started buying CDs for my boy and taught him to match stuff on this first computer! I do not remember when we gave it away but it was a period with no apples 🍎😃!

We still have a desktop and I am really fond of it! A desktop is always majestic! It did create a transformation and we never got to acknowledge it!

Anyhow I have a feeling whoever reads this, would be rewinding their memory back to the good old 90s😀!
