This, that and invention for a warm Saturday.

If you could un-invent something, what would it be?

Necessity is the mother of invention. None of the inventions were made for human kind to suffer. We humans started abusing them from pain killers to plastic. Plastic was invented to stop trees being chopped and pain killers help with major surgeries.

Once the invention happens, the secondary use of the product becomes a nuisance and some times danger to humans.

First generation ipad gifted my kids by my parents! Still going strong purchased 2010 Christmas!

Online learning started during pandemic. It was a great way for the kids to learn, but we transitioned back to full time school as the pandemic progressed! What would have happened if we had kept the children at home?

Okay, today it is a heat wave for us. We are touching 40 degrees farenheit! But we have an arctic pluge coming! So, marched to the grocery shop for some major shopping! I didn’t touch the bread but picked up veggies to make some yummy pakodas and bajjis. Of course hot vegetable soup is also on my menu! Arctic plunge means, we experience the same air as that is in Arctic circle. For a few days need to live like an eskimo.

Spicy pepper pakoda

Then me and my husband went to the next shop to look for a handbag for myself! Yup, someone needs to invent one for me! I go out with my boy and I carry things for him too! Finding one to fit my needs is hard in the handbag department! We walked out empty handed. I really have to see in person these bags, since online shopping will not cut the deal!

Ha ha, Not these toddler bags

My son had to use the restroom, so I was waiting out in the toddler section. I remember shopping for so many of these items. It is not useful for me anymore but that doesn’t mean it needs to be un invented!

I miss these little people

Anyhow, I am really old school with writing with pen and paper! I feel that is something that needs to stay and nothing new should be invented to replace it! 😀

Meanwhile, the story of my food that I left out for the rabbits. All gone! Other than a few pieces of banana.

  1. I love everything about this! Great point about us taking a simple invention way too far with other purposes.
