When I grow up for RDP

Morning, I wrote a blog saying it would be a busy day with me cooking for Pongal Celebrations.

But my special joined me in making all the dishes! This is the first time, I feel I am not a food photographer. Teaching my son in the kitchen is a task and the work he did was not documented by me well. But here From 10.45 am to 12.20 pm he was my assistant in the kitchen and he made a feast for himself!

The task of cooking alone was not the target, but waiting until it is offered to God was an extra target.

When I grow up, I am going to be a chef! My son did not tell us, but exhibited it today.

Please excuse me I am documenting all the pictures taken in the kitchen in my blog today. We made many dishes but only few were captured while cooking.

Adding asafoetida
cucumber raita mixing
Coconut beans curry
Sambhar
Preparation of Sarakarai pongal
His favorite jaggery
Ghee
Vada
The offeeimg
His lunch plate
The table all for him
His favorite today, mango pickles
