It is beautiful out there!

My Easter Bunny loves to watch out my garden. It may look a bit depressing with just snow, and temperatures below 0 degree farenheit! But he has accepted the fact that this is part of our life in the North East! Life needs to go on.

You plan things a bit different it is January than if it is June. In June you are out in the park at 9 pm with the sun just setting down but in January, you can make yourself comfortable with a book or a TV show in your couch. Or just go ahead and finish up a puzzle.

Oh what about the exercise? How about driving to the local mall, and taking those steps? Just leave the credit card at home and enjoy some people watching. Gyms have indoor walkway, how about a mile or two indoors. They do help you keep fit.

The catch being, you need to leave the house to an unpleasant cold air hitting your nose. That is fine just a month or two until spring brings in beautiful weather. Until that time, enjoy what Mother Nature has to offer.

This year, things are being normal. You can’t talk about global warming or palm trees in the North East. My bunny has accepted it and so should I! A week done and dusted off in January successfully!

The flakes are huge

Hi Uma, it is. Very pretty when the snowflakes drift through the air and no two snowflakes are alike. It is finally a real winter. I like the break and the glistening snow❄️☃️🌨️

  3. I enjoyed our recent 26 hours of snowfall, but the aftermath is quite a different thing! Snow is so beautiful when it’s falling. And the quiet is very special.

    1. There is a meme going around. As people shovel snow, they sing we do not have hurricanes alligators or earthquakes! We had more of a nuisance snow here.
