As I wound up my trip and 2024, here are the final pictures from our last day. Happy New Year to all my readers and other bloggers out there.

These are pictures taken on a 13 mile scenic drive in Red Rock Canyon. We just stepped out once to hike once due to lack of time. Just 30 minutes away from LAs Vegas strip it was a beauty.

I really didn’t know much about these places close to Las Vegas. I enjoyed videos from this particular youtuber who did 4 parks in 4 days. We replaced Zion with the Valley of Fire since we did not do much hiking.

Then it was checking off FOMO stuff at the strip 😃!

What we did not do at Vegas?

We did not gamble nor did we not drink. We did not watch any shows ir stay on the strip. The former being our religious amd cultural upbringing but the later one because we were worried how our son would be on the strip. But we did learn he would have done fine if we had stayed on the strip and maybe enjoyed some shows. So that is for another time. We did survive a week in South West USA and pretty much did good with the sights and sounds.

And last not but least we did walk to the Welcome to Las Vegas sign one early morning and checked it off our list.

Maybe we will be hack again ? That I do not know. But happy to go back home to my own bed and of course my kitchen! Ready to make a big meal and eat from my own plate!
