Today was a long day! But we checked off another National Park from our bucket list!

It was another day trip and it was to Death Valley National Park. I may be sharing pictures and stories about it for the next one year😀! But for today here are the highlights!
I had watched multiple YouTube videos and had a list on my hand and my FOMO sensation was at it’s highest. I didn’t want to miss anything from the checklist I made.
Death Valley is a desert and you have to be there in person to enjoy the vastness of Mother Nature.

This salty basin is the lowest point in the country! Yes, we did taste it and it is salt.

A 2 mile drive and a one mile round trip to the Natural bridge was hard. Yes, it was completely gravel. But worth the trip. Yes, we were worried about our rental van’s capability but we survived!

Yes, I climbed up on top of these sand dunes and so did my boy 😃! We had some non co operation movement in the beginning but we walked a mile and a half on these sand dunes!

We had decided to skip this 14 mile scenic drive but peer pressure made us drive this route.
Takeaway from this day trip.
It is not New York City or Paris. It is Death Valley and it is crowded! We had to wait in line for porter potties and parking was like musical chairs🤣!
I really thought this destination would be less crowded but it was not so! Anyhow compared to Zion not much but there were a lot of people.
I have been blogging my travels the past few days, but my highlight for the week is Death Valley National Park.
We walked in gravel, salt and sand. Saw nothing but barren lands but it was a wonderful experience.
