I am not an artist. My brother drew better pictures than me. It seems my grandma’s grandfather was school of arts director. Over generations that gene did fade away.

Anyhow, when I compare myself to my husband I can pretty much call myself Leonardo Da Vinci. I may not be sketching the Mona Lisa, I sure do a better job with my home decor. He calls himself Aurangazeb, son of Shahjahan who built the Taj Mahal. Aurangazeb was not interested in anything creative. Basically, I do not have any competition in my house with whatever creative thing I do and I think I am doing a decent job.

Anyhow over the years, I had to transform our basement to suit my son’s sensory needs. In fact we both had to come up with ideas as to satisfy his cravings and teach him new things. I would say Necessity is the MOTHER OF CREATIVITY.

Now it is slowly getting transformed into a room where he can learn to sing.

We keep creating new spaces for my son to grow. I think we both may need points for that creativity.
