The tree is up!

The Christmas tree came out yesterday! Yes, it found a spot. But I have to decorate it. I am not rushing it. My boy did put up the tree! We have pre lit lights on it. He enjoys it so much. But the entire lighting is controlled by him! Anyhow all the light switches are controlled by him😀!

The highlight of his week and maybe mine too was handing out Holiday gifts to the local police. He had to have a bag assembled with candies! But he did it without eating a single piece .

Take a minute and zoom onto the picture to see what was inside the bag! His group also took a picture with a policeman.

This is the month we celebrate a festival of lights in my state! Yes, not during Diwali but it is nearly a month later om full moon day! Love the battery operated candles! My grandma’s Ganesha shining brightly behind these lamps.

It was a busy week with multiple activities and I really needed my coffee and bagel at Panera Bread today morning!

Loved those tiny mittens

  1. What a wonderful post. I love seeing your special boy putting up the tree. I’ll admit I took a screenshot of that cute gift. I think i’ll do it for the school people who work with Kepler. How is the blog by Natalie connected to you? I visited Edinburgh but only overnight. I must go back.

  3. It is so nice that the local police are working with you boy’s group. I believe it is doing good for both sides.

And I really miss Panera Bread – I used to eat there regularly when I lived in Atlanta.

That is so nice you give presents to our police. It’s so awesome for the police help with Ani’s group. Ani really concentrates when he is putting up the tree. Sometimes putting things together is tedious and directions are not always good. Do you go to the Panera’s at the Galleria? My Mother used to meet her friends there for bagels and coffee.
