2017 we went on a cruise with Autism on the seas. The last of the cruise, they were handing out brochures with discounts for future cruises. Let me tell you we were so tempted to buy them. But we did not. In fact, we took a vow we would do more cruises in the future. But it still has not materalized.
I started my blog in the year 2020 and I am successfully completing five years blogging. I joined my first Bloganuary in 2022, and I have done it for the past three years. Now WordPress does provide similar prompts every day. Some are not so great and others are good. On days, I feel they are interesting, I have taken an effort to write a post. I also get to read a lot of other bloggers on the same prompt, so it feels interesting.
So, when I saw Bloganuary is back, I said to myself I am back for the challenge. It is going to be me writing 31 days, everyday in the month of January. Last year, I added my son’s cooking videos for ten days. So, if the prompts are not interesting, I can add my own material. But it is a challenge to myself, to be up by 6.30 am in the morning (yes I am not a morning person), and have my blog out by 7.00 am. Yes, I have to write it at a particular time and not any time. Otherwise, it is easy to miss a day or two. Unlike the cruise offer, I am taking on this challenge/offer. Of course it is free!

January is one of the worst months, weather wise and very depressing. We do not travel anywhere and it is all routine. I think, taking up on this challenge is going to help my brain work. I blog almost everyday now. But, I do it random, when I have a thought or when I see an interesting prompt. I have to be out of my comfort zone a little bit, but I think that is the fun of it.
Thank you all for following me! I have great friends and family who take the time to message me. I post my blog now on my WhatsApp status and on my Facebook page. Yes, I would not call it social media since it is limited to only my friends but I am happy to share and get those thumbs up and comments.
I never thought I would be blogging and making this a part of my life. Five years into it, this has become part of me. I have to thank my husband who supports me. Yes, there are things that are personal some days, but he just gives me the okay. I love the way my dad, sends me some good picture emoji on Facebook. He is on this platform and one reason for me to post it there. Thanks to my mom who re reads my blogs, so she says, anyway, my views do get added up!😄
Here is one of the best blog, I enjoyed from 2024 Bloganuary. If you have not read it please do. It was one interesting prompt.
My complaint
Meanwhile, I will continue my ramblings in December. Yes, it is one of my favorite months and there are so many interesting things happening around. It maybe cold outside, but life during Christmas in this part of the world is fun.
