A topsy turvy week

Nothing went according to plan this week. When the sun sets early, and there is darkness around 5 pm your mood surely comes down.

I have activities for myself lined up in the evening yet, it is not the same as summer time.

A twenty year old pain/problem popped back again giving me a scare. But it looks like it is nothing to worry about. I just need to be careful. (Pain killers and anti inflammatory meds are not cool)!

I went to the pool with my boy and I completely forgot to take his swim pants! I took him to his program with a packed lunch and I forgot his spoon. Kudos to him, waiting for his pants at the pool and he did ate his rice from his lunch box with a plastic fork! Oh it was his first attempt at eating rice with a fork!

I started arranging something and ended up doing something completely different. Anyhow, we moved things around our house. I told my husband priorities change and these things needed to happen. With an OCD kid, it is not an easy task. But I didn’t expect my husband to fight me when I did the change 😃!

We had to pull out our winter wear and bed spreads. That was my priority this week but it did not materialize.

But with all the things happening not according to plan, I need to acknowledge it was not a bad week. I survived or we survived!

I forgot to pack these artificial lotuses/lilies when I put away my Navaratri dolls. All week, my mind has been thinking what do with that.

Then at 3 pm today decided it was not going to be packed. Going to stay on my center table. An executive decision!😃

Some weeks are like that, everything you wanted to get done is still not done. I still have to switch my closets and finish my laundry. But I did get all my birdhouses cleaned out and stored and did a lot of outdoor things I wanted to do before it does get cold. I think your executive decision to leave the flowers as a centerpiece was a very good idea. They are very pretty.
