My recent trip to India, I purchased a lot of tiny things from street vendors. I had a very tough time with the new currency notes. I couldn’t distinguish the difference between a 200 rupee note and a 500 rupee note! So when I gave a wrong note the vendor returned to me letting me know of the mistake. Every day morning I come down the stairs, I remember this incident as I see the tiny elephants.

I completely acknowledge minimalist lifestyle. But it is not for everyone. For a person like me who struggles with so many every day things, I need these small souvenirs. A picture blown up, a wall hanging or a cup in a showcase all pushes my day and the struggles I face!

Anyhow I am not for buying things and putting in storage or hiding it in the closet! 😊
