Navaratri Day 8

Northern Lights

Finally my phone captured THE Northern Lights. We can even see the phenomenon with our naked eyes a bit!

But the day was filled with Golu hopping.

An amazing Dasavataram (10 avatars of Lord MahaVishnu) made artistically by my friend’s ten year old daughter. I missed this Golu and my friend forwarded me this. I have promised her, she would be my first visit next year. We need extended Navaratris.

A little girl’s creativity

But I was fortunate to visit another friend who lives much closer and see her beautiful Meenakshi and her Dasavataram made with clay.

Over the past eight days, I have seen so many Golus displayed on social media. Amazing music posted by my cousin and pictures of Goddesses by my aunt.

Navaratri seems to be a season of creativity and the past week just flew by.

Little bit down, the festival is winding down but Diwali is just around the corner.
