My peace

What brings you peace?

Exactly a year back I answered the same prompt. I went back and looked at my post. Mindfulness, beach vacation and coffee were all the things that bring peace was my thought then.

Fast forward yesterday, I was at an ISCKON temple. The weather was perfect. It was not too cold nor too hot. My husband had taken my kids to feed the cows at Goshala (cow protection). They already had dinner at the dosa shop. I just sat there enjoying the weather and listening to the bhajans coming out from the speakers. The music was not too loud but perfect. I was watching children playing and adults praying, taking selfies. I was without responsibility. I was relaxed for the few minutes. I could even take a picture of Lord Krishna from outside and I sat there enjoying myself.

It was so peaceful. I think the weather was one big factor. Had it been raining, too hot or was it too cold, I would not have enjoyed all these things. I should add weather to what brings peace. Maybe add good health too. A stuffy nose or a cough can spoil your peace.

Enjoy some pictures from ISCKON, in West Virginia.

I am so glad my kids spent some time with the cows when I had my own peace.😊

That does sound peaceful being outside just enjoying the beautiful weather. I am jealous because I would like to feed the cows too❣️❣️
