We walk every evening at a park near our house. We can view July 4th fireworks from that park. The park is not usually crowded, but on July 4th evening it is usually crowded, and getting out of the park takes 45 minutes.
We therefore do not miss fireworks. It is part of our evening routine, and if we stay an extra half hour, we get to witness our township’s fireworks.
Yesterday, however, it was pouring around 8.00 pm. My husband said maybe this year they may not have fireworks, or even if they have, I do not think we can go.
Around 8.45 pm, the rain slowed down, and by 9 pm, the rain stopped completely. It was cloudy, but we were there exactly around 9.30 to see the fireworks.

All morning, me and my husband had been having arguments about something, but we both had a laughing conversation, saying, This is karma! Our karma was we needed to have our evening walk and witness the fireworks. No force in the world could change that!
We even compared to our night cough we experienced all June. Whatever we did, it stayed with us, and one night the cough stopped and we both slept well.
A practicing Hindu, I have always questioned karma. But I keep getting answers whenever I am confused the most. Karma can be good and bad. We need to experience it both. Once we reach a nil balance, we attain liberation. I do not think I am at a point of liberation. I have accumulated a lot of good and bad karmas, just experiencing them.
