Sequels for Weekend Coffee Share.

I have blogged almost every day this week. This was a hot week with temperatures hovering around 90s.

We did not go out much and just spent most of the time at the pool during afternoons and at the park late evenings.

If you had followed my blog all week, my Indian snack that I made outside was a success. I am proud to present a small video of the snack. In India, we used to dry our clothes outside during hot weather. I have also seen my mom put her silk sarees out in the sun for disinfection. I did the same, and the sarees really looked good yesterday evening.

As a side dish!

I blogged about a killdeer bird nesting in our park, and we were surprised to see two cones put beside her for safety. Summer camps have started there; maybe one of the camp counselors was smart enough to do it. She is now safely nesting. Praying for the tiny birds; I hope they will be hatching soon.

WordPress asked what was the food that brings back my childhood memories, and I wrote paani poori. So that evening I just asked my husband to go to the Indian store, and me and my boy prepared not only paani poori but also bhel poori for dinner. He was very motivated and was able to control himself through the entire process. A small victory.

Bhel poori!

This weekend coffee share is a sequel to my weekday blogs. By the way, I preferred cold drinks to hot coffee this week, and I was surprised. I think the weather demanded lemonades only.

Hope the weather is better now.
Here we are used to 45 degree celcius.
    Is that THENKUZHAL MURUKKU?

    1. Yes it was thenkuzhal style vadaam. I tried another ribbon pakoda and utterly failed. Did not want to write about my failures.

      1. No worries, even the best chefs have their off days!
        Ribbon pakoda can be tricky.
Wishing you successful kitchen adventures ahead—may they be crispier than ever! 😄👩‍🍳
