We celebrate Mother’s Day and Father’s Day in our house. I was fortunate to have my parents with me two years ago, and I was able to celebrate with them too. This year too, I celebrated a bit differently, and I did blog about it here. 

Are these holidays commercialized? Of course they are! If you google, you may find every day is some kind of important day. Today, May 13th, was Apple Pie Day, and May 10th was Mother Ocean Day. How did I know about it? My son’s program had a theme celebrating the same. With holidays 365 days a year, we can choose whatever we want and celebrate them according to our comfort. 

Anyway, we do not break the bank to celebrate these festivities. Therefore, I am fine celebrating them. Again, it is a personal choice for every individual and family. 

I did go off track with the question, but I think I enlightened everyone with some new information.
