Winding down March

Mother Nature helped me and I think I had a very productive March. Yes, spring cleaning inside and outside has begun. For any activity we do, once it is set in motion the rest follows.

The month began with a trip to Shenandoah National Park and it was a wonderful time and I think our family has really learnt what our pass time activity is. We are now casually walking 5km and as summer approaches it is just going to be more. My target was to do a 10km race in the year 2024, but I have changed the goal to multiple 10km walks/hikes this summer on trails. My husband has agreed to it. We did almost a difficult 5k hike on a trail today evening, where we climbed nearly 30 floors. I remember doing our first Pittsburgh 5k in 2018, I came home to just lie on my couch. But today, we came home and continued with our evening work. Yes, we have built up stamina as a family.

Anyhow I ordered some Indian sweets yesterday and I have been indulging in them. These two sweets are not available in local Indian stores, and it was therefore a new taste for my special one. He did not care for it at all, it looks like even a taste for a sweet is a acquired one. But he did enjoy the crispy savory I ordered along with it.

Jaangiri and adirasam

I am really excited to do my first A to Z challenge with the theme travel. Quarter century ago, my son was diagnosed with autism and for the past 25 years we have done so much travel with him and he has come a long way with regard to enjoying the same. It is going to be in alphabetical order and I will be publishing a blog every day except Sunday. I do not plan to do any other writing except this since this requires more concentration and effort. I see nearly 110 bloggers who have signed up on the A to Z challenge master list and I hope I get read as many as possible on a daily basis.

Happy Easter 🐣

See you all in April with some fun stuff.
