Worries

This week my question is;

What saddens or worries you about the future?

Last week I asked what brings joy to your day. Today my question is the reverse- What worries you about future?

I may sound selfish, I am not worried about global warming or who is going to get elected but I have started worrying the health of me and my husband. Touch wood things are good as of now. When my kids were younger, our life revolved around them and as my kids have grown, we have much more time for ourselves (yes, I do have a special boy at home but we have a much more easy life to do things that we love).

We really need to be healthy for at least the next two decades to travel, enjoy trivial things and be there for each other. I think this is the part in our lives, we start living for us and not so worried about our children. But I feel as if something is hanging on top of our head, and that is what worries me the most.

Yes, writing about a worry did make me feel better. Have to be just positive. I think it is too much thinking.🤷‍♀️

  2. Don’t worry Uma, just take good care of yourself and Lakshmi. That is all you can do. I think you cook your own food and exercise and your blog keeps your mind healthy.

    I do not worry about the future. It is in God’s hands or the gods hands, depending on your beliefs. I have had a good life. I have done dozens of wondrous things. I have met hundreds of amazing people. I have, what in my opinion, is the best daughter in the world. I am content. Some people may call it complacent, but I am content in just living the rest of my life as it comes. As long as no one threatens harm to my family, all the rest are external factors that other people can worry about. Besides, I have a wife that worries enough for the two of us. 8)
