Special Mom’s blog

I have a very busy day ahead of me. I need to engage my special one and it is Maha Shivarathri today. My younger one being home, I want him to be part of the celebrations. One aspect of Shiva Raatri is the abhishekam we do for the Lingam. Lord Shiva is not much of a food fan, so the food offering is just a porridge yet it looks like a busy day.

All my social media is filled with Wishes for this day along with International Women’s Day. But one was interesting. A small restaurant in a place in India has offered free food for mother in law and daughter in law pair. The only request they need to feed each other.

My husband as he read told me I was unlucky since I have never seen my mother in law. She passed away long before I got married.

Anyway we women have come a long way but I think we still are possessive over our things and our son being one of them and vice versa our husband 😊. It is definitely hard for us to share our love with another girl that we need some kind of motivation for us to bond? I do not know 🤷‍♀️! Anyway I do not know if the restaurant exists or not. We really need a change in attitude 😊.
