Spice up your life!

What bores you?

Rigidness is bland, add some spice

Kids sitting in the back of the car on a long drive, husband in a mall waiting for his wife to finish shopping, wife waiting for husband to finish watching a game all will be bored. Boredom happens when it is not a preferred activity.

But I would like to add any activity that you like too much can make you pressured and I would say that would be boredom. A rigid schedule may be great but once a while getting out of that schedule can help you relax and come out of the boredom called pressure.

No need for a motorbike ride maybe a bicycle ride? for a change?😊

I do not have anything specific to say I am bored with. I can say both my preferred and non preferred activity can put me down.

So what do we do when we are bored? Maybe there would be a prompt that would ask the question, but I am just going to say why not spice up your life by doing something different that what you would otherwise not do!

  1. I like that you connect rigidity with boredom. I find that as well.

    1. My son is very rigid. In fact he does well in his comfort zone and we let him be it. But he does even better when we take him out of it once a while!

      1. We all need that little bump every now and then. I like my routines very much, but I also like to reorganize my personal spaces regularly. Different, but not different lol

  2. I find sitting and waiting for a medical professional visit boring as well. They make you get there 15 minutes before your appointment time to make sure your paperwork is correct, then the doctor is 45 minutes behind, so you sit for an hour.

    1. So true! Why they make us come 15 minutes early? 🤔
