Day 11 of Bloganuary Challenge!
Okay, the prompt itself is a challenge question since I am no way a business person. In fact when WordPress asked something similar as to what business I would start, I wrote a flower shop. I think that in itself can be crazy for me with all my allergies.
But what about a crazy business idea for the general population. How about a theme part to go and experience our parents and grandparents eras? I have always heard, “when we were young, our life was so tough”. How about show our kids and grandkids the same experience. Maybe a 70s era room, a 80s era school and 60s era how life was when children came from school. I know places that show what happened in the 18th century and 19th century but what about children experiencing with their parents and grandparents, their life. In fact kids would be surprised even with a rotary phone or a Television that does not have a remote. An evening that was not filled with parent planned activities but trying to fill up their free time on their own. How about no internet and waiting for a letter to get an information or learning about telegram.
I think every country in the world has been transformed because of technology and the theme park can be customized according to that country. I think the parents need to stay with their children at least a week since the experience sets in only after a few days.
I remember my hometown in India not so crowded and more silent. I remember the days we used an antenna for the Television and we kids being the remote. I remember the days when we received a telegram (we did not have a telephone), my grandparents would be nervous since it would bring in death news. I remember the day when we did not talk about diet but did so many household chores as exercise. My Mom did not have to worry about a packaged food since we never bought any. We wrote letters to our aunts, uncles and maternal grandparents. We eagerly awaited the postman (mailman) and I remember the mailman getting money if he got a telegram with good news like the birth of the child.
I too would like to visit the time when my parents were growing up. In fact they grew up with no Televisions and their life was much more simpler. There were not many machines around and I would love to sit and enjoy their time when things were much cheaper and not complicated.
A Time Machine Theme Park is what I would call. Time machine that takes you just a few years back and not a century back. I think it would be fun for all.
Ha Ha, if you all think this is not a good idea. Laugh it off, I am not a business woman and I do not have an ounce of business gene in my body! Anyway the prompt asked for a crazy idea and I think it may fall under crazy category perfectly.
