What are your favorite physical activities or exercises?
I walk every day and I have blogged about it number of times. But that is not what I am going to write about! I remember a very old joke. Moving your head left and right when a food is offered is the greatest exercise. Yup a silent “No” nod can shed you loose some pounds.
Food is available now more than ever. I see so much food around me, though we complain of price hikes in grocery stores, I see people eating good. In fact gaining weight by over eating is the problem now! I struggle with myself and my boy with portions control! It took a lot of effort to shed that extra baggage and I had to find my culprit! Yes, portion control helped.
Okay, I did switch over to hand pound rice and finger millets but I do not think it caused me to loose weight! I think I ate less because I didn’t like the taste of those and my portions came down automatically! Same with a salad bowl instead of a deep fried curry! The taste of oil replaced with home made yogurt with spices made it good but not in par with the spicy curries! My portion size came down!
The tasty snacks were the hardest. So replacing them with flours that are good really helped since they just taste like sand (I don’t know how sand tastes but I feel that is how it would taste😀).
So the greatest exercise is when you see a calorie loaded food just nod your head left to right and move away from it.😃
By the way, I liked dark chocolate supposed to be good but my boy is not a fan. So we buy and keep. He smells when the craving comes and moves away from it! Find innovative ways to loose weight 😄😄😄!
