Ornaments for MLMM Wordle #351

Written for Di’s MLMM Wordle 351

Yours words are

Christmas,
tree,
bauble,
tinsel,
fairy,
glitter,
lights,
presents,
toys,
Santa,
decorations,
bells

Finally we got our tree from the basement and have started decorating the same!

The assembly part was easy as my special one placed the three pieces together! Then my husband with a Masters in Engineering degree tried to connect the lights! After half hour decided that the bottom row lights have gone and that he has done his best and moved on to his own work!

Assembly the easy part

Then began my work of hanging up the ornaments that I have been collecting the past 20 years! Yeah my baubles are not expensive but they do look attractive. My Mom gave me four bells and that would catch anyone’s eye! My son has made several over the years and even today we worked on a lot of ornaments for the tree in his program! Some of my ornaments have glitter and some are just plain. But the one I love most is the one made with melted crayon.

Painted Wooden and foam ornaments done by my special one
Snowman made on a clothes pin and my Mom’s bell
Melted a crayon inside the plain ornament to make it red!

I am searching for my tinsel and some other stuff so my tree is not yet fully finished. I hope by the end of the week, my decorations would be done for Santa to bring our grown kids some good presents😊! Anyhow no more toys in our family! Just a clue for Santa! Two more weeks until Christmas!

  6. I love all the ornaments, and memories that go with them. That’s the best part of putting up the tree, the memories.
