Long time back, we went to a school. We had text books and we took notes in school. Our teachers sometimes recommended us some guide and we would go and buy that! Our school had a library in case we needed a reference! Public libraries and book shops also came to our help. The newspaper came early in the morning and carried the important news on the first page, less important in the back pages. Weather in our paper was in the third page sports was in the last few pages and that was it. Regional news followed by National news in English carried things that happened around the world! Yet, that was too much and overwhelming and that is what I thought!

The past few weeks, I have been trying to enroll myself in a course. Don’t ask me what it is. I am still in the research stage. There are not one, but many for the same content! I can even learn about it for free on youtube and or just google about it, download the material and learn them. It seems the content is everywhere. As I browsed, I became curious. It is not limited to this course but to everything. In fact, you can even have a learning happening through youtube shorts or instagram and facebook reels 😀!

Just like everyone is a doctor, just by the searches, everyone can become anything by reading bits and pieces or attending a few hour course! Now I am not into ChatGpt stuff and I have heard this gives you all the secrets!

It is so interesting how learning has become. “Oh, wow”, that is what I felt! This is overwhelming cubed!

Anyhow I am glad, I can do all this from the comfort of my home without stepping out! The only thing is I need to do some research before I enroll in a course or learn about a topic from a particular website.

Is the material authentic and would that add value to me are the two things I am looking into. It seems once I narrow those two, I should be ready to embark on the journey.

Research and embarking on the journey are the two easy things for me😀! With a special boy at home, who loves my attention, me completing that journey would be a victory! I hope there is a part two to this blog and that would happen when I finish the journey!

By the way, the 24 hour news, weather, entertainment, Sci-Fi, discovery, History channels also keep teaching us something along with the innumerable documentaries that are available on all streaming platforms for free or for a nominal amount. Thinking out loud, the brick and motor Universities have a lot to compete with in today’s high tech world!
