November was socially busy month for our family. We had something or the other planned for our boy and he came out of it with every bit of success. The Diwali live light music concert and fireworks were a highlight. As a family we enjoyed our Thanksgiving Turkey Trot and hope to repeat more of it.
Once Thanksgiving was done, the past week has been real quiet with routine activities. We ended up the week watching a Live Healing Concert by my Guru Sri Sri Sri Ganapathy Sachidananda Swamiji from Carnegie Music Hall. Swamiji performs through out the world and we have been to many of his concerts in person. This could have been one, but the logistics was really hard to work out. Any activity we do with our boy, we see to it he successfully comes out of it. So our decision to stay home and watch it live on YouTube worked out great. Swamiji encourages people to sleep through his concert and that is what my husband did. My boy sat with his 250 piece puzzle on his tablet and with the light switched off, enjoyed the music. His puzzle pieces when getting attached makes a sound, and we as parents are so used to the noise, it did not bother us a teeny bit. The concert started exactly around 7.30 pm and ended at 9.30 pm and my boy’s puzzle got over a few minutes later. Yes, it was a successful concert for the organizers as the funds raised from it was given to various New York based charities and for our family a very relaxed evening in our basement. So December begins with a relaxed mood.

I planned on putting up our tree today but somehow missed it. Most probably would do it tomorrow. I have Christmas village sets, but it is all mixed up with my other dolls, so going to pass up on it this year. But I have a few Christmas activities planned for my boy and hopefully would be executing it the next few weeks. So December is always a fun month.
Thank you all for stopping by.
This is for Natalie’s Weekend Coffee Share.
