Congrats to Photos by Jez,200th Episode, Water Water Everywhere!

So here are a few more of Lake Ontario pictures from Rochester, NY. We visited a few weeks back and the waves were wild! I have heard seas have stronger waves than oceans. But here at Rochester we saw huge waves and unless you taste it, you cannot believe it is fresh water!

    Hi Uma, I am always amazed when I see Lakes have waves too, like Lake Erie has waves. Why don’t rivers, I wonder.

      There has to be a large enough distance of water for the wind to start forming the peaks & troughs. Most rivers aren’t wide enough, but occasionally small waves might form in wider deltas & estuaries.
