What have you been working on?
The past week, I have blogged all about my Navaratri celebrations.
A friend (a music teacher too) of mine came along with her daughter for my Golu. She and her daughter sat down and rendered two pieces one on Rama and another on Abhirami. At that point I realized why I do all this hard work. My entire room lighted up and people coming to see the display and singing devotional songs is something that makes your heart melt. So with their permission I am posting their tiny clippings of video along with my Golu. (I did have a few more friends who sang, but my recordings were not great). So this is The One I have been working for!

We in the US also celebrated Maha Navami or Saraswathi Pooja a day early and I had Indian flowers for the same. Lotus and jasmine imported from India decorated my Goddess Saraswathi, Goddess of Education.

Today too my boy visited a Golu at a friend’s place. He did sing again in this house and it was a much organized visit. We also met a new family and grateful that they could drop by.
I am getting immense support from my friends and family for Golu competition. It really has kept me motivated and making me think what to do with my boy for next year. I have had so many come in person and appreciate my hard work and really grateful for their appreciations.. My display will be up for two more days and I hope to meet a few more friends before winding everything down.
Wishing all my friends who celebrate Vijayadashami, A Happy Vijayadashami.๐
Also tagging Ceeโs Flower of the Day: I have a lot of real and artificial flowers in my display. ๐
