My evening

What are you doing this evening?

The day has not gone as I wanted. I had a class in the evening which got cancelled. So my evening is pretty much free.

I have been a bit irritated too all day long and I attribute to my change in diet. Oil and me have a bad relationship. It is one of my enemies and I completely stopped oil for more than a month and I even started loosing weight. So this week I decided to go all weekdays without much oil and my physical health seems to be great. But my mental health is not so fine. I am craving for some deep fried food. So I am still thinking alternatives for dinner.

I started watching CSI, New York, and I do not remember any of those when they were being broadcast on CBS. So will be finishing my day watching one of the episodes.

Looks like an unplanned evening!

  1. I liked the cast of CSI: New York.

Dietary change is hard. I’m adjusting to one with very little gluten. In the elimination phase, almost all oil was gone, save coconut. What I remembered was that without some fat, we stay hungry and our brains get grumpy with us. Besides, butter makes me happy.

    1. Exactly we need that fat to satisfy our cravings. 5 teaspoons of oil per day is what is good for our health.

  2. Dietary changes are hard at first. Once our body and mind adjust, we feel better. I went through a major dietary change three years ago. Today, my stomach does not like fried foods, or bread unless it is homemade from scratch. I feel better and more active after the change and adjustment. Unplanned evenings or days can be relaxing and fun. It is sometimes nice to not have anything planned.
