Last Saturday I went on a roller coaster ride after many years. But my week has been a roller coaster of emotions. If you think of an emotion, I can say with confidence I experienced it.
To change my thoughts, I decided to make YouTube videos of our Florida trip. It is easy to make small videos and I have my own channel and I can save it privately. It was fun looking back at a trip that happened six months ago. It also made me and my husband realize the value of vacations. I still have many more pictures on my phone that I can make it into a movie and this is much easier and cheaper than taking printouts. Doing this task really helped me come out of the roller coaster emotions.

The weather has been unusually hot. But Christmas and Thanksgiving breaks are not far away and I started looking out for places to visit. To confuse google so that I do not get bombarded with advertisements, I searched not only all over the country but some foreign countries too. This was another fun thing I did to neutralize myself. I also learnt there is a new browser called duckduckgo that does not hover on us. Our searches would be more private it seems.
Friday evening, as I write this post I am still experiencing some roller coaster emotions but I have picked up my pieces by doing different activities.
My boy has worked hard this week in the kitchen and if I do not appreciate that I can’t call myself a positive person. He has continuously cooked something for us the past 12 days. He has also started a journal and I am hoping I can fill this cooking journal with all his favorites.

Packing his lunch has been one of his tasks and he seems to like that very much.

Here is one of his cooking reel. He just made a simple leftover potato sandwich but as Neil Armstrong said, small step for man but a big step for mankind. In that way, this is a big step for my boy.

We all undergo various emotions in life. We need to find a way to balance it otherwise we may end up getting depressed which is not good for our physical health. I am glad this week is over! Eagerly awaiting for a much scaled down weekend and smooth transition to Monday.
