Walking

What daily habit do you do that improves your quality of life?

For the past six years I have been trying to do atleast 10,000 steps a day. Usually with my small steps that is 4 miles. I wanted to loose weight by walking but that did not happen. I had to cut down my calorie content by reducing my oil and carbs intake. Along with walking I was able to achieve my weight goal target. My son and my husband also walk with me, infact they do more than me and it has immensely helped my family. I got a fitbit in 2017 and it has been my best friend.

I encourage everyone to do some walking. The fresh air and saying a hello to other walkers or passer by really helps us psychologically. Yes, there are days you may not be able to make that 10,000 steps but apps and watches really motivate us in different ways. It is really a good addiction that catches on to you.

There are many walk at home videos if you do not have a space or you are stuck at home. Move yourself and enjoy the results.

I think this is one daily habit that is cheap and easy that has improved my quality of life.
