A Long Week

This looked like a long week with my husband recovering from a minor surgery that happened on Monday. He is doing great but to err on the side of caution he is taking plenty of rest.

But life continues and my special one has stepped up with watering our garden.

Then I have a beautiful sunflower in bloom. I should do a victory dance since I saved it from my critters and the birds who eat the seeds I plant.

To give my husband some quiet time at home, me and my boys visited A Trolley Museum and rode on a trolley 70 years old. They are special needs friendly and a ticket purchase for the day, you can drive as many times you want on the trolley.

We saw plenty of other trolleys too inside the museum and we had a great guide who explained the difference between trolleys and trains now. He looked cool!

On a hot day, the water fountain too looked cool! (a pun maybe?)

When I decide I am not cooking much this week, I see some of my tomatoes from my garden fully ripe. So made some tomato chutney.

My special one seems to enjoy the picnic shelters and we have a lot in our township. But the one near a stream is so pleasant and that is what we did on this Saturday afternoon. We lounged ourselves on a bench near a small stream and did nothing but hear the water.

I wrote two blogs to WordPress prompts. But I would like to share a link to one of my blog here again since I wrote it as an awareness message. I hope you take a minute or two to visit the same.
