Day 5 Road trip, Crystal Falls

Day 5 was us enjoying the campground. My husband did the laundry, I made a quick lunch. and the kids enjoyed the pool. My special one did not even try to get into the water at Lake Superior but had fun in the outdoor pool. We have stopped pushing him for somethings and making him play in the beach is one.

We found out about a park just 3 km from the campground. A short hike took us to a beautiful water falls. The sound of water falling is always therapeutic how big or small the waterfall maybe.

I take my special boy for Rec Night offered by his program. They rotate five or six team games every week. One of the game I saw my boy interested was volleyball. He loved hitting the ball when it comes to him but has a very hard time making the serve. It requires a lot of eye hand coordination. I have been asking my husband to come to see him but most Wednesday evenings he seems to be busy. When I read in the brochure the campground had a volleyball court I purchased a ball and took it with me. The past few evenings we have been teaching my boy how to serve the ball. He is still struggling but my husband is on my team to teach him. I hope we practice this even after our vacation.

We are vacating our cottage this morning and will be crossing the border. It was a fun and relaxing stay here in Sault Ste Marie which I learnt is the friendliest city.
