Bibliopole

I must confess, I am no Bibliopole but I do have a lot of books. It is sad the era of physical books is coming to an end and online reading is catching up. A fact to be accepted.

For Sammi’s weekend prompt: Bibliopole : a person who buys and sells books, especially rare ones.

  1. I agree. Vinyl records are making a comeback so hopefully, books will too!

  2. I think both e-reading and paper books will (do) exist side-by-side. There are many advantages to each. But, even my local bookseller has a link to purchase e-books, if I like. For years I have borrowed e-books through various public library services.
    That said,
I cannot imagine the concept of collecting e-books, rare or not. 🙂

    1. Collection should be tangible.🙂 I don’t like digital photos, only printed ones🤷‍♀️.

      1. My book collection is. Some books I cannot get electronically, so paper will have to do. I miss being able to adjust fonts and touch a word for the definition. But, I manage. 🙂

      2. Ha Ha. You can zoom on e books and I can act as if I don’t need my reading glasses and still be young🙂.
