What makes you laugh?

A few days back, I had set an alarm for 2.30 pm. I also noticed that the alarm didn’t ring at 2.30 pm! I decided I must have not done it and went through the rest of the day.

I don’t sleep with my phone. It gets charged in the living room one floor down. In the middle of the night, I started hearing an alarm! I could not open my eyes. Then, I realized what had happened. Instead of 2.30 pm, I had an alarm for 2.30 am! I slowly picked myself up, walked downstairs and switched it off! It was 2.34 am when I finally switched it off!

Glad no one other than me woke to the alarm! I had a midnight laugh at myself!

Looks like I don’t need external factors to make myself laugh! I can do it all by myself.

Humor and laughter can get ourselves through any situation! Anyhow I do love to read funny memes and jokes that don’t hurt people!

    This always happens with me. Alarm on mobile when it’s charging in another room. I have to get up in the middle of the night, for me at least, and put it off.

    What I really enjoyed is your ability to laugh at yourself. That midnight realization—dragging yourself downstairs only to discover the “2:30 pm vs 2:30 am” mix-up—is the kind of everyday comedy we’ve all lived through at some point. And the way you’ve narrated it makes it feel light, warm, and very human.
