I have never missed a St Patricks day party with my young man.

I have also bought home a clover leaf shamrock plant from the party as a prize!

This year was a bit different! We could have missed the party but it got postponed! Irish ☘️ luck?

So off in green we both went today! I could even find a pair of green earrings! The morning didn’t start great so finding that pair was definitely Irish ☘️ luck!

Then my boy finished third in a game? I looked at the prize table. He had to pick a prize and the plant stood in the corner! That is when my young man decided to pick up a clover shaped sensory (artificial ) leaf as his prize! Did I loose my Irish ☘️ luck? No! I was happy he picked something of his choice!

By the time he won another game, the shamrock plant was all gone! Yes it is going to make a great gift for another mom! I felt so happy! But he did pick up a shirt! It said “Yinz Irish”!

Yes, a gift that I can’t kill and would be used for years to come. Irish ☘️ luck stays with us (me)!

The banana pudding made by my son’s facilitator! I felt the dessert stole the show!

Meanwhile Trader’s Joe sells that Shamrock plant 🪴! If anyone wants to get one for Irish ☘️ luck! I don’t think my husband would be willing to spend dollars 💵 for the same!

Maybe it is time for me to learn more about Irish, Celts, St. Patrick’s Day and not just go to a party to get a shamrock ☘️ plant!
