Just my thought!

What is one question you hate to be asked? Explain.

The prompt question 🙋‍♀️ in itself is interesting with the word “Explain” following it. I felt as if I am looking at a Physics question paper and my memories go back nearly four decades 😂! I do know the prompts are recycled and AI generated. I hope they come up with better questions in the future.

That said, I heard on a talk show about how people have lost patience in watching movies and shows. With one minute Youtube and Tiktok reels, even big companies like Paramount and Netflix are facing competition.

I do love watching these minute reels but I have become a fan of travel videos.

The ten minute video in the above link shows some of Pennsylvania’s State Parks. I took notes and created a list that I can travel to this summer.

This is a forty minute video of a couple’s day trip down to the Grand Canyon and back up in one single day. I am not going to make this trip but I enjoyed something that I personally do. I watched the whole forty minute video in it’s entirety.

I do feel that when something is of good quality people are not going to skim through it. When presented properly it is going to attract the audience.

The talk show host mentioned that box office collections have become low because of tiktok videos. I would say it something is catchy and needs to be seen on a big screen people are going to make that trip to the theater!

  1. I completely agree with your take—quality always wins over format. While short-form content satisfies our need for quick entertainment, truly immersive experiences like a well-made travel documentary or a cinematic film still command attention when done right. People haven’t lost patience; they’ve just become more selective. Give them something worth watching, and they’ll watch—whether it’s 40 minutes or 2 hours.

  2. I love to watch movies and series. But nowadays too much violence is being shown and glorified which I don’t like.

  3. What a thoughtful and engaging reflection! I really enjoyed the way you approached the prompt with humor—especially the comparison to a Physics exam question from decades ago. That little touch of nostalgia makes the piece feel very real and relatable.
