In their own world ๐ŸŒŽ!

Everyone at the gym had earbuds. My observation the past few days. Everyone at the airport had earbuds. Everyone everywhere are having earbuds! Everyone are in their own worlds!

Autism means being in their own world. We restrict our son with his music and headphones. In fact he doesnโ€™t bring his music outside the house. He needs to learn and understand what is happening in the real world.

But I am soon realizing the world outside is trying to isolate themselves individually! Isnโ€™t that an irony?

Early morning pondering. Have a good day.

      1. I miss the days when time was our only enemyโ€”no matter how much we had, it was never enough. Now, people claim they want to connect, yet they keep the doors bolted shut.

  3. Funnily enough, Iโ€™m reading and commenting on your post from the gym with my headphones on. My headphones have become a security blanket in public – to create a boundary and space between my inner and outside world. It turns out itโ€™s not just neurodiverse people that need to tune into their own inside frequency! ๐Ÿ˜
