What is the greatest gift someone could give you?
When we traveled last week we used all the disability services. We pre boarded our son and used TSA help to get security cleared up. We used his access pass to get into National Parks for free. When we had autism moments, of course you do, we had to tell people he was autistic and we were considered with empathy. Every person gave us a Christmas gift in the form of help.
A week before our trip we attended a sensory friendly symphony by Pittsburgh Orchestra at Heinz Hall. It was called a no judgement zone and it felt cool.
As I age, me in particular I am grateful to all these special concessions. Yes, I do not need sympathy or pity but empathy so that I can enjoy typical things with my young man.

Me getting a big fat kiss from my young man. An opportunity for him to enjoy a concert without judgement. Thanks to all the charities that sponsored this event and thanks to Pittsburgh Orchestra and other ensembles that put in the show for us. It was a grear Christmas gift.
