The Federal Government finally opened up their doors for business yesterday night! Yup, when airlines got affected they knew it was time to compromise.

I began watching the shutdown for my personal reasons. All the National Parks were affected and we decided to take a break from visiting them. My NPS app as of today morning is not yet updated.

That said, we didn’t travel much and left most of the weekend to clean the house and of course cleaning the house leads to finding cool things. An extra half pound cashews and cumin seeds, peelers and knives and a cool brush all found their way from unknown places to their respective places. It all began when I started searching for a “X” which still hasn’t been found but on the way I found one too many cool things which I plan to keep.

My adrenaline rush of cleaning spaces was running high even without a big budget travel. My husband would have been happy. That said, I now have a list of things to replace around my house during Thanksgiving sales. I saved money on travel and that would be spent. Definitely not be going into a high yield stock! 😊
