The tire pressure sign inside our car showed low and my throat was a bit irritated. Ha, the cold weather has landed and it is here to stay. The leaves are color changing, falling down and Mother Nature has come back to her normal routine.
But we were offered a beautiful summer like weather last weekend. We were at Findley State Park in Ohio. Yes, we crossed state lines to visit another beautiful state park and it was worth the drive. By the way, we don’t need to drive much from Pittsburgh to get into Ohio, West Virginia or Maryland 😊.
The trail we took was short. Just a mile and a half. But it passed through this beautiful stream filled with duckweeds.
Have to give some brownie points for my husband who noticed a frog while standing on this bridge.
If you can zoom, you can see a pair of eyes peaking out.
The trail passed alongside a lake, it was short, narrow and we walked on tree roots. A sensory experience.
How many more of these new parks are we going to experience before winter sets in?
I have no idea. Will grab whatever opportunity we get and soak ourselves with Mother Nature .
